In this inaugural episode of “FIND YOUR SWING™”, Dawnmarrs.com and I review 6 listener submissions, and try to help them figure out how they can build a business, scale themselves, or break out of the 9-5. In this show, we touch on the arts and crafts world, the music industry, the programming/computer industry, and a couple more unique businesses. There are tons of really practical nuggets in this show, including applying membership sites, “scaling yourself”, email/funnel creation, and much more!
Just a couple links in this one:
Well within every podcast there has to be something that you think “This is the fourth time I have heard this….time to get serious”
I cannot hold back from knowing that I have to learn as much as I can about social media as I can anymore. I have been building two websites over the years, one that is a travel company and one that is a bricks and mortar car parts business, and I think now I have to leverage FB, “The Twitter” and all the other avenues to get people to notice us instead of writing more and more pages of content.
The two things that screamed out at me was Derek Halpern comments that “It isn’t about a ton of content its about how many people get to see the content ” Duh!!!
This seems so obvious it makes you wonder why I haven’t really done it before, and then Chris Ducker mentioning the same thing give or take the other day. So I am now a Ninja!!! Signed up and ready to learn. Looking forward to it greatly, so I will log in !!!
Dang it!
I signed up for the Ninja course, and so far so good. I particularly like the exercises and drills you have to do in each chapter. Its the first time I have ever really been into the world of facebook, and pinterest, and its amazing how people are contacting me already. I just have to get out of my “Wooooohhh too much contact people….stand back there is nothing to see!!” mode that I generally have. Interesting stuff and really adds to Michaels podcast the other day.
